Exhaust film

on the endcap of my yoshimura exhaust there is a stickey greasy type film its black and thick and gooey.............. i was just wonderinf if this is normal or not...... as a note i also recently used liquid gasket to seal up a leak so maybe its leftover silicone... but i dont know.... any help would be appreciated

Is it buring oil or smoking? Did you put anything in the exhaust or something got it there?

i think my oil was really dirty temporarily during riding......... check out my post on cleaning yer air filter correctly

i used the silicone between the muffler and the midpipe........... it was kinda leaking

If it wasn't a high temp sealant I suppose it could be melting or deteriorating and collecting at the end cap.

it was high temp but also recently my dirt got in my carb its clean tho now but maybe that culd be it? dirty oil? also it was really humid today

is it muffler packing????
