pipe hitting hose

I just picked up a 86 250R and it has a lrd pipe that adgusts it dosen't look bent ot anything like that but it is toughing the return hose. do I need to sell pipe and get a new one. or maybe thats not the right bend of hose

ya mine does the same thing with that pipe. I know alot of ppl around here that race put exhaust wrap on the hose to keep it from the pipe. just go to a local automotive shop and get some wrap and wrap it up.

Those muffler bearings are no joke. Like last week my girlfriend gave me a muffler burn on my neck... sucks!

You can get that pipe off the hose by playing with the silencer mounts. Try different spacers till you get it fitting right. Just takes time, or sell it and get a Sparks pipe they fit super nice and have alot more power, just my 2 cents
