View Full Version : Custom axis shocks for cheap

When i got them, i was told they were supposed to fit on a 400ex. My friend mounted them on his 400 and He thought it sat low. They are 16 1/2 inches from the center of the top eye to the center of the bottom eye. They are ugly as all get out. They have some scratches, and need cleaned up. When they were on the 400 they seemed to work well, but you would probably want to have them valved for your weight because i have no idea what they are valved for now. They are eight click compression adjustable. $350.

did the 400 have stock a-arms that they were on?

No, the a-arms were plus 2. The a-arms also had like a dual mounting tab on the bottom, and he had them on the outside? I think they might have been long travel a-arms because of the position of the bottom mount. Not sure if they would have sat higher if he would have mounted them different, but i would be inclined to say that they would fit on stock a-arms and work well.
