if i took the spark arrester and air box lid of my quad will it do any damage in any temperture?

First of all, put your spark arrester back in, it doesn't give you any more power if you take it out, just ticks off you neighbors. Second, taking off you lid wont affect how it runs in the cold that much. You probably wont notice it much. you might need to go up a size of your main jet, but that would be it.

You probably will have to change your jetting size if you take off your air box. Its a free mod that adds a little bit of power but if you ride in mud and stuff I'd leave it on. Taking out your spark arrestor dosen't add any power. It might even take power away from it.
