what should i use to clean my stock air filter (250ex)

Well, I have a Recon 250, which has the same motor as a 250EX and the Honda Owner's Manual says to use kerosene. Just check your owners manual, it gives you all the details!

depends what material it is, you cant go wrong with the owners manual. I have a UNI foam filter and i use a good dish detergent and it cleans it up very nicely.

yeah, i use kerosene for when i clean my stock filter. works great:)

Yea, when I dipped my air filter in kerosene the dirt and grime comes right off!

you all better do more than just "dip it in kerosine".......... such as oil the inside of the filter and not engine oil ... air filter oil
