Has anyone done this? Also what mods had to be made to make it work. I heard it will fit. I'm thinking it will have to be modified the same as the 450r shocks.

I think it will lower your front end too. The top shock mount looks similiar, so you may be right.

i'm sure i'm wrong, seems to go that way alot!

from what i'm told all ya have to do is machine the top mount of the shock to make it fit, just need to find out what needs to be done. Maybe its too wide for the shock tower. They are a little shorter than than the honda shock but not by much.

yes jumpin. thats my quad. and that was set as low as it goes. you can set the ride hight back up to almost stock if u want. it can go from rilly low to like 1inch below stock hight. and even at that hight i could jump pritty high and not bottom cuz all i did was set my rebound and compression hard.

all you doo is grined the top eye skinnier. the bottom fits perfect.

also it gives the most travle you can use. if it had like 1inch more it would break the ball joints b4 u bottom cuz the shocks bottom like quorter of a inch be for bottoming on the ball joints.

i made em look kinda like elkas.

i say get yfz fronts instead of 450r. yfz are mor beter for the track ad stuff. u can set the yfz shocks from wair their about soft as stock to hard wair you cant make the shocks even compress when you push on the bumper.

in the pics i had my quad sitting 4-5 inches off ground but set it back up to a tall 13 inches last week.

if you put the fronts soft as they can go you will have to much bodie roll too

the shocks are only about 1inch shorter. so if 400ex fit than yfz will fit. and 450r are slightly longer eye to eye than the 400ex shocks

dimondjcoustoms or sumthin like that sells a kit so you can mount 400cc-450cc quads front shocks on your 300ex. they sell the kits for $220 or you can go on ebay and try to bid on em.

the thing i want to know is if putting those long shocks on 300ex's/blasters/250ex's/ is if it gives too much travle for the ball joints. i think they would

now the 450 r and yfz shocks for a 400ex are a diffrnt story. also a person put a 450r rear shock on his 400ex too in a different quad form.

no its not too much travel
use the shock relocator and 400 shocks

now my buddy has yfz shocks on his blaster w/no mods
just bolted them on.... seems to work fine
