i just installed a wesico 11.1 .040 over piston. i checked the compression and it was 240psi!!! i dont know if this is right or not, just seems kinda high for me since most cars are around 180psi.

that is correct. remeber on cars, most are only about 9:1.

Yup, it will be a lot higher than a cars. Most cars have very low compression. Wait until you see the psi on a 13.5:1 or higher, lol. ;) It increases exponentially.
