The other morning I was in the shower getting ready to go to work when all of a sudden the bathroom door flies open and my 7 year old son shouts at the top of his lungs "The cat's tail is smoking,the cat's tail is smoking".I was like "What the heck are you talking about?".He said the cat's tail somehow got into our wall mounted propane heater and caught on fire :eek2:
I thought oh God,I'm going to have to jump out of the shower and chase a flaming cat down so he doesn't run under the bed or something and set the house on fire.Well,as soon as I stepped out of the shower,my wife who was out starting her car to warm it up came back in so I yelled at her that she needed to find the cat because it was on fire.
She got the cat and put out it's tail with a wet dish rag and all ended well except for the awful smell of burnt cat hair:scary: After it was all over my son came up to me and said "Dad,that was cool.The cat looked like a jet running through the living room with a vapor trail coming off his tail":D
