Hi

I put a 450r carb in my 400ex (stock, with hotcams stage 2, open box).

My jetting is not perfect but arond 8/10.....

my setup is
-48 pilot, 3,5 turn out....
-3rd notch from up
-158 main jet

the bike pull hard trough the gears.... Also, I love this choke, the bike start better than the crappy 400ex choke.....

My idle is fine.... but when i push on the throttle JUST A LITTLE but quickly (The needle is still down), the bike shut down...

What do you think? i think my pilot is too small, I'm going with a 50 pilot jet....

thanks!

If you are refering to the FCR carb then they are known for a problem like that. The Boyesen Quickshot is the fix for it... But I would play with the pilot first.
