What oil goes in the 400ex 10-40, 5-30,10-30? My cousin just got a used one and I'am going to change the oil.

You can use straight 0w-40,,,,,,,10w-40,,,,,,,,or 20w-50

It depends on the temperature... The first thing that really matters is it needs to be motor oil, and needs to be for a wet clutch.
