I am painting my a arms on my 250X and noticed that the ball joint boot is ripped. I called my local parts supplier and asked if i could get a replacement. They said no and i was like what am i supposed to do. He said run it until the ball joint wears then put a new one in. Is there any aftermarket companies that i could possibly get a new boot to fit???

Please help

In a parts fische they are diagramed as one piece (a-arm and ball joint) but you can get the boot seperate if you know the part number. I don't know the part number though. A guy who might not be on this site anymore knew it. He had an awesome 300ex that was all red, axis shocks, and all leagers components. His name was something like starkracing or something like that. Try searching for his name. He posted alot of pictures of his bike so it shouldn't be that hard.
