I'm not sure how you meant it but "a 9.85% chance to have a crank bearing problem" based on the poll may or may not be misleeding. A poll sampling only people that frequent this website skews the results. People that frequent this site tend to be much more hard core riders than your average 450r owner. I guess you could say if you run the *hit out of your 450r and it is a 04/05 model then you will have about a 10% chance of a crank bearing failure based on this sample and be about right give or take 5%. Just thought this was worth adding to you post, not trying to start up anything. My belief is that the actual number for all 450's is much lower.

Hey, just a heads up but your numbers will be bad skewed. Its along the same lines as "How many cannondale failures?". Most people that have problems search out sites to get help. Many that have a quad with no problems don't give a crap about the sites and you won't get those people. I would say the 450R bearing problem is a very low percent and with factory backing its not as big of a problem as us dalers.

ya i kno, im not saying they are the exact numbers, im saying what the survey said, not what is true, there probably is more of a .01% chance for crank bearing failure
