View Full Version : Extra Oil In tranny 450r

I have been told and have heard that people are burning up the tranny in some 450rs. They say to put an extra 100cc of oil in the tranny to save this from happening. has anyone else heard about this? thanks

i always put just a little more in to be safe

I think that alot of people dont check their fluids on a regular basis. 4-Strokes will use some oil. I check mine everytime I ride. Espically on race day when Im running a couple of classes.

When you check the oil, should it be flowing out the check bolt hole pretty quick or not much at all? I have an 06, just want to make sure it's where it needs to be.
