Does anyone know the extent on what it takes to make the chain run on the left side? Per say if a crf450 or other left side chain drive motor was used in the frame? Thanks!

Not much, just swap sides on the rear end. Oh and some good engineering. Go to daleriders and look at some of the swaps that have been done.

Dale riders is down, Already tired looking there. Cannondale parts are so cheap, So why not build an aluminum framed quad? hah

CRF has been done a ton! Do something new like a KTM, Suzuki or Kawasaki 450!

I think theres someone on dale riders with a 250 two stroke from a dirtbike on there. What do you want to do with it? Or are you just looking to have somthing different with a chalenge? You could update the dale motor if you wanted. I mean its not like they are obsolete. :p

Ive swapped out a stock motor for a big bore 470 stroker . It was pretty easy . It responded well to the extra 20 horse. LOL

If your going to a 2 stroke I recomend a 500cc+

Brad at blackwidow is making a big bore 2 stroke, i beleive its a 750cc, almost 100hp... that will fit in the dale frame...:D

Correction...the Blackwidow motor is a 625cc 2-Stroke

It has interchangeable "domes" to change the power output. But 100hp is achievable.
