I have the chance to buy this 2004 DVX for 4000 from the local dealership all stock mint condition or i could look for a z 400 or kfx 400 used with maybe a couple mods here or there for a little cheaper. Theres a big risk involved in buying a used one because you dont know how it was treated. Am i better off looking for a used one or taking the DVX.

if i were u i would get that sick dvx there so nice i got 1. but thats me 4000 is a lot of money but i think thats the bets choice. getin it from a dealer. hey is it an articat shop i think i know what 1 ur talkin about my dad knows the guy maybe ill hook u up. the other think the dvx mad light whip soo easy u could just throw it all around its nice.

i personally like the kfx/z better than the dvx but if u can get a brand new one for 4000 def. go with that. they retail for 5800 i believe. 4000 is a steal, plus u kno u will have no problems and u can soup it up yourself

its not brand new it was used and they sold it to the dealer and the dealer looked it over and now there selling it again...

i think 4 grand is a little much for a stock 04. i got my 03 with all the mods in my sig, minus the handgaurds, bars, bumper, and back rims for 3800.

the only diffence between the kfx and z is plastics and the kfx's shocks weigh a little more....what ever u like better...its pretty much personal preferance

Just go with whatevr you feel best with. Personally I bought my 04 kfx a while back for $2800 and no it aint hot lol. But lots of people sell the Z's/KFX's because they get tired of working on them. Not trying to flame or anything, but I do all preventive maintence on mine, and maintain it constantly, and right after I bought it the motor went and I paid $1100 to get it done. And I've paid lots of things inbetween, and now its broke again and I'm not positive as to what it is. Thats just my 2 cents though.

thats actually high for that bike, I'd look around more if i was you. you can get them so much cheaper now that there all three major companies have a 450, anybody that owned a z that that really races and wants to compete is selling it or has sold it
