250 is sold, hello 450

For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to sell my 250R. Finally I put it on EBay. Two nights ago, I got an e-mail from a guy in Spain saying he'd like to buy it and he'd pay for shipping and everything. The only catch was that I had to get the shipping quotes because his English is not very well. So I sent about five different companies quote requests. Yesterday I got an e-mail from EBay saying it had been sold with the buy-it-now. So this Spanish guy is pissed at me because he didn't get to buy it. Oh well. Some guy from Jersey is coming Fri. to pick it up. Now I have enough to fully pay for an '06 450R. Damn, I cant wait 'till Sat. when we pick her up. :D

yeh i would like to know as well, i didnt put my R up for sale yet. But when i do (in april) i have a feeling it is gunna be a ***** to sell

well, the guy came from jersey to pick up the 250 this morning. so we went out to the dealer today and picked up the '06 450ER in red. DAMN is it fast. this sucks though because I have a band comp. tom. downstate and I cant ride :( ill get pics up tom. night

the black ones look real nice on the dealer floor but after u ride em for 5 minutes the look like s**t and its all down hill from there

they're little dots (about the size of a pencil tip) that you stick on your frame, engine, ect... the adhesive that you use shows up under a black light. that way if it is stolen, the cops will use black lights to search for these things. then they take a magnifying glass and look at the dots. the dots have your own PIN # that is connected to your name. its actually a pretty good idea. i wish i'd have thought of it :eek2:
