anywhere to race in souther louisiana or mississippi?

i want to know if anyone has any info on any race series in southern louisiana or mississippi. i'm from northern missouri, but will be working near new orleans for at least the rest of this year. i usually race xc in iowa and missouri, but will not be able to this year because of my new job. i would appeciate any info on racing in this area, xc, mx or even just good places to ride. thanks

Where in missouri you coming from. I am originally from Jefferson City. There is several places to race. I was one of the founders of DSQRA which was a association that raced la and ms but due to the hurrican and me in the desert right now we had to postpone this year. There are several places like gatorland which has all quad races and others every so often. Gatorland is less than a hour from New Orleans. A good place to keep up with the races is on www.dsqra.com and www.motosouth.com
