what spark plug do you guys run? someone told me to run a dp9ea but i want to be sure i dont want to mess my bike up thanks mouse

If you are talkin about a 400EX I use a NGK DPR8Z. I dont think the plug you mentioned would work.

OK here are the differences between the DP9EA and DPR8Z

1. The DP9EA is not a resistor plug where the DPR8Z is.
2. The DP9EA is a colder plug then the DPR8Z
3. The DP9EA's thread reach is 19mm and the DPR8Z's thread reach is 21mm
4. The DP9EA is considered a "Special Design" plug.

ok then whaqt do you think would be the plug to run the one you mentioned? is it a colder plug than stock thanks

The plug to run is the NGK DPR8Z. If you want a colder plug use the NGK DPR9Z. The plug you mentioned doesnt work.

ok how about the denso iridium plugs are they any good or even worth the money?

i like NGK but the denso plug is the X24GPR-U. Thats what comes in the quad stock.
