hey all you guys/girls that have maier plastic, was it dull when you got it? and if it was how did you shine it up? and how did it fit ? i know you have to drill the holes but are there little tabs that stick down to drill the holes in like on the stock plastic? any help would be appreciated.

the plastic comes dull and never gets shiny. You should have bought fullbore plastic

Well that's not true because my plastic is maier and looks as good as stock Because I waxed it and buffed it and it looks good, As far as putting it on it was really easy. And why do you want a set of $400 dollar fenders to scratch and break if you wreck.

I purchased my son's lt-80 used & it had maier plastic. It was dull then & it is dull now..........but it will shine with a little armor all.

i got maier plastic and i love it...when i wash it i just armer all it..and it looks great...if u got small fenders it dont take long till the dirt gets on it and dulls it anyways..but at least it looks nice when it is just sitting there or have not done a lot of rideing

I have dark blue plastic from maier, no problems putting it on and compared to fullbore prices, it is way worth it. I paid $199. Looks great too.

Your 400 looks great, just wish the maier was shiny... Got to love that shine. Have you thought about carbon fiber tank cover?

If you use plastic renew on your maier plastic it will come out pretty shiny. Its kinda a pain in the ***, but it works well.

Way better than spending more than twice as much for Fullbore.
