Are these magnesium clutch covers going to have the same problem as the Z400's did? Will they corrode at all? Would my best bet be just put magnesium sage coolent in right when I get it?

Thanks

I'm sure they've corrected that problem.

No coolant goes thru any magnesium. Ive taken off my water pump and looked inside to verfiy this. Ive started to polsih my engine also and the right case is aluminum. THats not to say that somt tiny part in the engine may be magnesium but the big basic parts arent. Im going to switch to evans npg+ just to make sure nothing happens though. Better safe then sorry

The side case is aluminum, the clutch cover is magnesium. Same as the RM-Z450. Because it's a quick-change clutch cover, it never touches coolant....so you won't have the same problem the '05/'06 Z's do.

None has mentioned the Cam cover. Is it aluminum too?

Cam cover is magnesium, im pretty sure. Doesnt matter anyway, all it touches is oil
