I will maybe bore my cylinder and put a 416 Je 10.8:1 in it.

I was thinking,do you think that I wil need HD head studs or the stock one will do the job??

I will be ok tu run at 91 octane??

Thanks

Studs are not a big concern for that setup. I wouldnt bother IMO. I would suggest you run 93 octane on that setup but you may get other opinions on this.

the head studs will be fine... 91 shouldnt be a big problem as far as gas.. dont use octance boosters.. they are crap.

then 91 will be fine??But with a revbox, that advance the timing and you don't "pink" with 91??

thanks!

I run a 10.8:1 piston and got by for 3 years before I started pulling studs and had to go Heavy Duty. I'd run stockers if I was you until you have a problem. 91 octane should be OK, I can run 93 with no problem but man it runs SOOOOO much better with higher octane.

Then,I will be correct to run at 91 octane?? if I advance my timing, does it will "pink"??Here the temperature can go to 95F outsidedo you think that will cause Pinkage?

Hi FoxMxRider:D

Here in Quebec, I think Petro-canada sell higher octane than 91..... I don't think it's a real problem during hot summer days.... The head stud will be limit with a 10,8.... I think they worth the price....

Do some searchs on this website and you will see... a lot of person use HD head studs.
