All teh WB is, is an XR250box with a white bros sticker on it. If it is cold out your bike will be hard to start. THe GT thunder one is a box made for the 400ex, not modified off another bike to work on it.

i would say GT thunder or TC racing, both make qualitly boxes.

ya definatly not white bros. because when its cold out or ever just cool enough where your engine turns over slower thatn it wont start because like someone said its made for a bike witch has kick start and the motor must turn over a certain speed before it will throw a spark. not a problem for kick start because it always turns at the same speed but cold weather makes it harder for a battery system to turn over fast enough. but if ya got a heated shop or dont mind putting the battery charger on or pusing it every time. the white bros box does rev a little higher and harder.

my 416ex wit 11:1 compression and the WB thing starts in the cold just at first it sounds like its gonna die then just starts spinning really fast and then fires.

What about the SRP, Magnum. Procom. or Big Gun Cdi boxes? I've heard the big gun may cause costly engine problems. Any truth this? What would you say is the best cdi box?
