Could someone plz tell me what the proper jetting would be for my 05 Raptor 660 with A Yosh RS-3 Slip on and a K & N filter with the CNC Adapter plate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the motor is "skipping" you are lean

If the motor is "bogging down" you are fat

pilot= idle - 1/4 throttle
needle= 1/2 throttle
main jet= full throttle

ok so basically you are saying that I do not have to change the jets you told me to use. Which one goes on the left, and which one goes on the right.

I could "guess" on your jetting all night and never be right.

You will have to test your jetting now to see if you are lean or rich anywhere in the rpm range, then adjust from there.

The bigger jet size goes on the brake lever side of the motor.

Jetting raptor becomes an art. I have learned this lession well.

Here is another tip on jetting raptors.

Removed air box
unscrew throttle and kill switch from the handle bars
pop the carbs from the intake boots
pull the cable slack from the throttle and kill switch, and turn the carbs upside down where the airbox was.

No need to remove plastic or gas tank.

Good Luck:cool:

you have to remove the tank, there is no way to get the carb boots off. Espically the front ones.

You do not have to remove the front boots. I leave those attached to the motor and the rear boots attached to the carbs.

The first time through you will have to rotate the carb to intake boot clamps so that the bolt is on the bottom. These are the the clamps closet to the carbs on the motor side.

Glad to liked the tip Crandles:cool: You will never do it any other way!
