Its not worth boring out a 250ex. Just get a pipe filter and tires. Then move up to a 400ex or a 300ex.

unless you absolutley know what you are doing I would bring it to a dealer or shop and have them do it. You could really screw up your engine from that.

find out how big the hole needs to be, and then you can put it in a drill press and use a holesaw drill bit, u can buy them at lowes or somewhere like that once u know the size to get. Thats how the professionals do it, they just call their drill a milling machine :rolleyes:

Like the others are saying. Take it to a machine shop and have them bore and hone it. It will be around $40-$60.
