icat spark enhancer

Has anyone tried the ICAT spark enhancer yet. I was just reading some reviews about it, its looks pretty nice. Is it worth the money?

if i have time tomorrow i will post the article, but QUAD magazine did a review on it. they gave it a 5 out of 5, and said it was worth every penny.


supposedly it helps burn the impurities in the fuel, and creates a special kind of spark. i guess it is supposed to improve jetting (so if you are a little off, the ICAT will compensate for it) and throttle response.

sounds like it probably works, but $200 is alot of money:ermm: you probably would get more raw performance with a pipe or intake IMO.

i could be wrong though considering i havent actually used one...

Heres the description:

The iCat is a small electronic device that is inserted between the coil and spark plug. The iCat is not a simple capacitor that shortens the spark duration, but electronically alters the pulse from the coil, and as a result produces longer, more powerful spark.

Increases throttle response and torque under load.

Gives a cleaner more efficient burn and increases miles per gallon while reducing emissions.
