air box

does abybody have the demensions of a 400ex air box, i want to make my own out of dimond plate, but do not have my fourwheeler at my house to mesaure it. Thnx

i have a custom aluminum airbox which also holds my battery.

the dimension are 11"L x 7"W x 5 1/2"D

you can add about 3/4" to the depth if needed & obviously manipulate the length if you don't intend on holding the battery in the airbox.

this weekend i am going to add some reverse gills to the front of the box where the filter is to increase airflow. i will also rivet some screen inside the box to stop dirt from getting in.

7 3/16" wide, 10 7/8 front to back, 6 1/4 deep. theres a part that is sunk in by exhaust. It starts 4 1/2 from the back angled back to top of the box. and its 2 3/4 wide from exhaust side.

alright ill b sure to get some pics up when im done, i no ittl turn out my friend did it, but he sold it w/ his ex so i oculdnt use it to see deminsions
