intake manifold ?

New to the 250R world, and have newbie question. I am going through an 88 for my wife right now, and have had the following done:mild dune port/ new 38AS carb/ trx5 pipe/ esr air box eliminator kit. What would you guys recommend for the intake manifold( I noticed its going to be tight with the 38 and saw that upp makes one for it), and which reeds do you prefer, the rad valve or the v force? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I read some of the old threads, and noticed that a lot of you favor the rad valve. I noticed that Rocky Mtn sells this for $119, what year of the cr model will fit the trx with the 38 AS carb? Thanks

Ive been told that a 96 CR rad valve with a spacer plate is a nice setup

After reading your posts on here, I have decided to go with the rad valve set up. Another couple dumb questions for you 250R guys,( i've got a shee, and no nothing about this R)? What is the difference with the 96CR Rad Valve, compared to the TRX rad valve, other than the diameter of the rubber boot for the 38mm AS. I would also like to keep the airbox, does the rad valve set up allow you to keep it? Thanks again for the help
