ATVA card

Did anyone else recieve an "AMA" card for a temporary card in place of their ATVA card? I did. They said due to overwhelming requests for them, they had to do this. Maybe this means our sport is growing faster than they can keep up. Thats awesome if that is the case!:devil:

lol monty, I renewed mine at Leon i think so i got till aguast which is awsome saves em some money for now see'n as i am racing 4 series this year:D . See you guys in a few weeks!!!

i got the ama card as well and they told me to send it back to them with a piece of paper that says i need it to be transferred to the ATVA membership and they would do it for no charge to me

What's the difference? :confused: I thought that a AMA card will get you into a quad race just as fast as ATVA card?

there's no difference. one just has a bike on it, the other a quad. the newsletter they send out is different between the two.

It is a numbers thing. If you get the AMA vard, you are counted as a bike rider. witht he ATVA card you are counted as an atv rider. The more atva members, the more pull we have. The AMA was thinking about dropping the atva a few years ago, because of lack of card sales. So, numbers count.

Don't renew to early. My card doesn't expire til June but I renewed it in January and my new card came back with a January 07 exp date. lost 6 months.

yeah i got the temp AMA card too. says the ATVA cards will be sent out shortly
