I got the armadillo frame skid. It bolts on like you said it does, it will also mess up the paint bad if you dont have someone hold the braket with pliers. When I get my frame PCed I am going to put a prm on. I have been happy with mine for almost 2 years now. What ever you do don't get the swinger skid from them mine mounted cockeyed and they said thats how they are made so I sent mine back for a refund.

mine on my 300ex seems to be doing good. Not many companys make the .25" skid.

I have one on my 450 and its great. The mounting shouldn't give you any problem coming loose or popping off if you tighten it well and use LOCKTITE! It holds up well too. I have put it to the test with racing XC and it will definatly hold up to the same abuse a bigger name companies skid will.

the thing that i am mostly worry about is the skid plate failling off if i bottom out bad on a jump. Thanks Rob

no it shouldnt fall off, but when you get a chance get a pro armor or dg full chassis skid way better IMO, also a pro armor swingarm guard, its the only one that has lasted more than a month for me, all the other ones (dg performance and ac racing) end up so bad after a month of straight desert that I could probably eat cereal out of them, but the dg full chassis skid is awesome though
