places to ride im not real sure about logan area but if your willing to travel at all i would say the knolls or little sahara are the top places to ride imo at least

I'll be moving "near to Logan" in about 2 months as well. I currently live right between the knolls and little sahara (that's the middle of nowhere to be exact) and I can say that they are both awesome. there's a few sandy areas in skull valley that are good and the MX at Deseret Peak in Tooele is fun if you are into that. Let me know when you get to Logan. I will be looking for some places in that area to ride. There's way to many mountains up there for it not to be a good riding area.
