when i had my ex built i wanted to put a cam so i went with the webcam stage 1. to find out the mechanic said my stock cam had more lift, and the web had more duration. why is this. shouldn't it have more lift and duration?

not necessarily,stock may have more lift for torque purposes,more duration will move your powerband into the upper rpms.at the expense of low end though.
