they are an awesome tire, and if on a bead lock can be ran completely flat and not really even look or act flat :macho But they weigh ALOT..... 2 maxis razr's only weigh a few more pounds than 1 HD  But the HD is by far the tougher tire

02-26-2006, 08:45 PM
i need some new rear tires soon. i was going to get some irazrs, but i just found out they wear real fast, so im prob gonna try some razrs, or razr2's

Holeshots own razrs imo, only good razr is the razr 2 front

when the razr wears down the lug absoluely sucks, you get no traction whats so ever..

TRUE.......a 50% tread holeshot will perform dig/grip way better than a 50% maxis razr ,raz2 or I razr

NO WAY!!!! who would think that a worn out tire wouldn't get traction. I'd never thought that

I wouldnt get the hd fronts. I absolutely hated mine. Get some Razr2 fronts or wait and get the new holeshot GNCC.

i have the HD's on my 300, I have traveled prolly 50 miles on the road with them and they still have like 85-90% tread left. They are awesome....never got stuck once. Even on my 300EX

Compared to worn down holeshots vs worn down razr rears suck.

The lugs cant be worn down like holeshots, holeshots you can switch around so it keeps them sharp because of how the lugs are designed, the razr's are too thick and boxy to do it.

but what do I know I've only been riding since I was a little kid kid :o

They dont turn like the razr 2s. They slide more in the corners.

Get The ITP GNCCs - they'll be out in a few weeks. The fronts resemble the Razr 2 with more of a center rib. The backs are really aggressive and have a larger lug design then previous XC holeshot tires.

Get the Razr 2s or the new GNCC tire. I have HDs in the rear and razr 2s on the front and it works great.

What are you smoking? There is now way in hell that a 50% holeshot out performs a 50% Razr2. The lugs on a 50% Razrs2 are the same size as the lugs on a new holeshot.

I can't tell a difference between the holeshots on my sisters 400ex and the Razrs on my 400ex. They both seem to hook up and corner very well. The 400ex's are set-up the same. Elka suspension and stock a-arms,axle,and swingarm. I did have a set of Razr2's on mine for the winter and i loved them for mud and snow. They sucked for everything else.
