Should there be a motor mount here??? (green Xs)

also, is there any way to determine the year by the serial number?

Thanks

You do not need the rear upper mount. Just make sure you use the headstay mount. My Arens frame does not have the rear upper crossbar at all.

That's a newer chassis. I think Lonestar eliminated that mount in '02. My '03 is like yours, and my '01 has the mount. I think they eliminated it since it was always breaking. When the left side of my '01 broke, I just cut the other side off. The year should be on the tag thats between the upper shock mounts, something like LSR02, which would designate 2002.

I have a 02 . I use those mounts, not the ones on the bottom in the back. I have another frame that does not have them... I guess it's what year and month???

Completely unrelated.

koh0001, you sent me a PM about your inbox being full, but since it's full, I can't send you a reply.

You have two folders, your "inbox" and your "sent items". Combined, they both count against your total. If your inbox is empty, then your sent items is packed. Up at the top right of your messages, it says "jump to" and a selection field.

Go to sent items, and start deleting.

well my frame is supposed to be either an 03 or 04

my serial number is "800 2086"

i called LSR today and they said the only way that serial number is on there is if it had to be registered in another state or something, and that it should be LSR03 or whatever

if it did not come with one i would not put one because welding on your frame would weaken it and cause u a lot of greif later not counting having to buy a new frame
