My rear holeshot xct's are wearin out and im gonna need new tires soon. Ive been lookin at the Irazr but ive heard it wears fast. I ride in tough trails, mud, and alittle bit of everything. Might do some very small jumping, but nothing big. I guess what i want is a 20'' xc tire, that will get me through mud, hookup good in all conditions, and wear good. Im hoping to enter in some local harescramble races this year, will i need to get beadlocks with these tires? What are the major benefits of beadlocks?

Im open to any brands or opinions right now

for what your doing, you'll have a hard time finding a better tire than the razr

The benefits of beadlocks is that it will keep the tire from comming off the bead in hard riding conditions. I would sugest getting beadlocks for the rear, and maybe the front depending on how hard you ride. But for the front rolled edge rims should be plenty enough. I would go with razr 2's for the tires. I haven't ran them before but I hear good things, when I get a new set of trail tires they will be razr 2's.

razr 2s are very nice tires i had them on my 400ex till my crash last week where i poped one. i would get the they lasted me about a year

( i did lots of burnouts and road riding) the road i ride on belongs to my family and no cars are aloud on it so its not breaking the law
