Which Shocks For Xc Or Trail

Im looking to get some new shocks,but im not sure what shocks will best fit my needs.Ill probably get works because there more in my price range,What i need to know is what shock do i buy triple rates,single rates,ressie,piggyback,no ressie. I ride trails hard, so i want a shock thats going to give me a plush ride but isnt going to bottom out.i live in tennessee so i have rocks and hills thats about it thanks for any help.

Elka rec series..an awesome triple rate shock, built well, and can be upgraded later. Price is around 465ish. Thats what I did and i think it was the best thing I purchased for my 400.

actually i think they might have raised them to about 500is now

either way it'd be your best bet! elkas are the way to go. either that or save up about 200 more and get some dual-rate, remote rezzy Custom Axis shocks.
