Which one?

I've been thinking about gettin a 400ex but im not sure what to get, im not sure whether i should get a 416, 440 or what. Which ones do you recommend for trail, track and riding in fields. Also i want something that is reliable and that could still keep up with my friends (who have kfx and raptor). Tell me what you think.

from what i heard 440s are unreliable.
i would just get a06 400ex reverse!!!!!!!!!!
