when i went to start my bike it turns over but then my starter freerides so would i need a new one or just rebuild it.

Sounds like you need a new starter clutch. :)

heres the thing i have the wierdest bike it only starts at noon or above and when i started it at 11:30 it didnt start so the starter is kind of funny.
