where the heck is the idle screw on the 06 450r ? book says left side but the isnt crap there not on the other side either the book shows like a thumb screw..... the deal is it keeps trying to die in the shut down area of the drag strip. then it dont want to start for a bit, there is a adjustment on the handle bars (like a clutch/brake adjustment) but that would be just like touching the thumb throtle and it wont start at all if you do that. if im a retard just tell me but also tell me where the screw is

right side just about 3" above the pipe.
on the fcr i believe it should be a screw you need to turn
maybe your jetting is off? or you could be getting it really hot and it just doesnt want to fire

its a plastic knob just like on the 05's mounted to the frame tube under the gas tank on the right side. just bump up the idle and youll be good.

Yeah, it should be a black nob on the left above your case saver.
