I just put mine in, only haev about 3 hours riding time on it. Cant really single out teh gains cuz I also did a 426 but there definetly is crazy improvement all over the place. The biggest thing ive noticed is that it pulls all the way throught the RPM range. Thats where I think the cam is helping the best.

I have a stg 2 hotcam, and i would recomend it to anyone. Yes, i lost bottom end but the midrage and topend gains were worth it.

I was told by an engine builder that there is: stage 1 ; stage 2 ; and stage 3.

stage 1 = more low end to mid range (not recomended for anything over a 426)

stage 2 = more top end power (mx and dunes)

stage 3 = stroker cam mid and top end ( his supplier do not recomend using at all, because all it does is supply with extra, extra low end torq, and the 400ex does not need anymore low end torq.)

can anyone confirm these definitions?

thanx

I got the stage 2 and noticed more mid-top end pull and not much loss in the bottom end totally worth, especiall for the dunes.
