What brands of front shocks will fit a 400ex, I know the 250r 400ex, z400 and the 450r shocks will fit but will yfz shocks fit or any other stock company? thanks

The reason I am asking is because my stock front shocks on my 400 are blown and I have very little money to spend for new ones but need something better than blown stocks. so any info will greatly help. thanks

The stock 400EX shocks can not be rebuilt. I think the 450R shocks fit better, or YZF shocks would be the second choice.

I don't think you can rebuild them, but I think you can service them....

yfz fronts on 400ex

all u have to do is grind the top eye skinnier. they lower u slightly too down to about mx hight.
