Well heres my life story. Im getting tired of my 250x real quick and i want a bigger quad and a two stroke. My friend is selling his lt250r and i might buy it or i might get a shee. How much faster is the banshee compared to the lt250r. How much power does a shee have with a 409 kit in it with suspenion mods compare?

Faster: Banshee

Handling: Banshee

Parts: as far as aftermarket I'd have to say banshee..

Lasleve offers a 409 big bore for a banshee, power is intense, I'd stick with stock bore with basic mods..

The Banshee is prob the better of those 2, but I would def get a 250R than either. You can find them cheap if you look!

banshee is prob better. the lt250 can be pretty fast though, my friends got a drag lt250 that can outrun some banshees

doesnt sound like a smart move to me. You need to have some patients. Save your money for something good, like a 250r. Don't blow what ever money on something that is only a couple hundred dollars just because you want it now

A banshee would cost more you would have to buy like 2 pipes, 2 carbueraters, pistons etc. if you wanted aftermarket stuff

think about it the 250r would be cheaper more reliable and more race and ridden proven:huh

Okay, the guy asked about a banshee or a lt, not a 250r. I would imagine he has already thought about it and just can't afford it.

So heres my 2 cents.
I have owned both bikes, i prefered the LT over the banshee. It was definitly better handling (banshees are tanks) and more rider friendly. Yes Banshees are very fast and fun, but only if you want to go in a straight line. There is a reason why people don't race them in motocross.
Fixing a blown LT motor is also alot cheaper then a banshees, and so is modifying it.
so if you want to have a little cash in your pocket for other things, i would go with the LT.

Not to mention, It was the first sport quad to hit the market, so you would also have a little piece of history.

Thats what i think, you should do whats the best for you though.
Good Luck:cool:
