steering stem?

Does anyone have a IMS 4 gallon tank? My Laeger +1 stem and cr hi pro taper bars hit the tank on mine. I've rode it a year like this and its time to get the right stem. It doesn't seem like a +2 will clear it either unless it also moves the bars forward a bit. I don't want to go much forward, my arms are short or something but it seems like its already as far forward as I'd like.

I had that tank with a burgard stem and also with a houser stem, and both touched VERY lightly when turned from lock to lock, so i wasnt too worried about it.

What length of stem? Mine +1 wacks it pretty hard and is already worn a little spot down into it. It'd be fine if it wasnt for that little bumped forward area in the tank.

mine were both +1 stems, i guess that mine were set forward more than yours???
