Yet another rev box question

Sorry, i couldnt find the answer in the forums so i'll ask it. Im going to be building a 416 (11:1) and am thinking of running an aftermarket rev box. My question is do they all advance the timing? Im wanting to still run pump gas, so it would be nice to just get one that raises the rpm's only. Ive seen the Dyna's where you can choose to advance the timing and such but thats kinda out of my price range right now. Thanks for the help.

Not all advance the timing, but that is where you really see the largest improvement from. As far as I know, it can still be run on pump gas... or am I mistaken? Anyone else care to comment?

I was gonna put in a sparks key but was told that i'd have to run a higher octane, thats why i didnt want to advance the timing. Any one else?
