Depends on what you plan on doing with the quad. MX, GNCC, trails, or dunes. I would get the yfz for MX or GNCC and the raptor for trail rides or dunes. If I were you try to find someone with a raptor and the yfz and get on it and that should help. I bought a raptor and a month later bought the yfz. The raptor was too tall and felt tippy and the yfz felt just right.

the raptor seems to high to me thats why i was leaning toward the 450. mainly i will just be riding in the wide open area no trails or dunes.

Again, this depends on what type of riding you plan. The new Raptor 700 isn't much different in height and width from the YFZ. ;)

if you dont want peoples' opinions dont ask for them... when they quote what was said and confirm it, it is just giving more basis to what was reviously posted... i dont know if you meant it like this, but you came across as a real *** with your last post... so like i said, when you ask for opinions you gotta take the good and the bad, so dont complain...
ps- i'm glad you can read

thanks again, i thought the 450 forum would be a good place to ask about a 450
guess not, maybe i should buy an outdated 250r or maybe two. one to crap on and one to cover it up with.

ask questions about yfzs yes, ask "which one should i get?" thats like going to a toyota dealership and asking if you should get a honda... not too bright...
and how you gunna try and talk crap about the 250r- its not a legend for nothing...
and yah i have a 250r, but at least i was man enough to know what i wanted to get... that my bike of choice, and i wouldnt trade it for another... but i didnt have to ask a bunch of guys what they thought i should get before i got it...
i'll tell ya what- go get your 450 or your 700, and come down to az and i'll show you what an old POS 250r can do...
