I have a question. When you find out the thickness.. say its a .023mm.. How would you know which shim size to use?
Iv noticed on my stock shims they have said like 125 or something like that. So I was wondering how you do this.
Also, where is the best place to buy a shim kit? $80 seems a little pricey for metal candys:p
Thanks in advance.
P.S. This is my first time doing this so cut me some slack:ermm:

Oh I dont need a measurment. I just needed to know if it would tell me the size to use on the gauge or if I had to do some math or whatever to convert it.
Thanks alot though bro.

are you adjusting your valves? if so, it should have what you need.
for my intake valves i had to set it to .005. On the proper shim, mine says .005, and under that it says .127mm
didnt have to use any math formula:confused:
i recommend going to home depot, i got mine for $4-5, cant remember exactly, but it wasnt expensive

to convert mm to inches divide by 25.4. example, 4.5 divided by 25.4 = .177 inches. or .177 thousands. the metric system sucks, use the standard.
