i searched and i cant find a clear answer. if i were to get a 450r carb what all would i have to do to make it work? i have heard that you have to buy a new throttle cable and have to do something to the intake boot. is this true and if so what do i have to do to the intake boot? also i heard that there was a problem with the choke fitting. is there any specific year i need to get the carb from. and finally anyone who has put one on is it worth it on a stock motor?

now that ive asked every question i can think of, Thanks!!!:D

buy one from e-bay, 100-130 bucks... I have one but not installed right now... I have just bought a used intake boot, grinded a little and everything is all right... I will probably cut the choke a little to clear the petcock.

Wait 2 weeks and I will tell you if my bike kicks some fast bikes....:macho :macho
