I have decided not to buy a hyradulic clutch, so my question what is the best clutch lever to buy to make clutch pull easier? Who sells them and how much are they? thanks

a CR250 lever assembly has the best pull ratio. the Works assembly is modeled after the CR lever and uses the same ratio. it is like $100 for the assembly, but there are many other companies that copy the works lever. ASV, applied, fly, and some others offer the style of lever for about $30-40.

i was considering getting a lever with hotstart because I have a 450r carb. But it looks like the hotstart cable comes in the top of the carb on the front and there is not enough clearance because of the gas tank. Has anyone installed a hotstart cable on an 400ex? My quad is hard to start sometimes when it is warm.

RTC clutch lever and perch. Pricey but I have one on my 99 ex and race mx, it almost feels like pulling air. A lot less forearm fatigue. You can find them on e-bay all the time from RTC direct.
