Now I know everyone on here is saying that HMF and Sparks are the best pipe/exhaust you can get and I dont doubt that. Now I know the Sparks is loud as **** but I"ve never herd the HMF, everybody says that they're prety close in the sound range. I want a good power giving exhuast but not loud. So my option (I think) is going to get a quiet core. How much "quieter" does it get? Does It get around 90dbs? If those exhausts can't get that quiet I know Yoshi is not that loud. But is that a good "power giving" pipe?Sorry for the long post.

i had an hmf on my 400ex and it was really loud so i bought the quiet core in hopes of it quieting it down a bunch when i needed. when i put the core in, i noticed the tone was alot different and it was indeed quieter, but not enough for me. i ended up selling the 400 for a 450 and told myself not to get an exaust for the 450 so i dont have to go through with all of the noise issues. ive had my 450 for a year now and i just decided its time for a pipe. i wanted something that gives power of course, but could be quieted down to a doable noise level for certain spots in my area. after i went riding with my bud who rides a z with a yosh, i made my decision. with the tec insert in the yosh, it was way quieter than the hmf on my 400 and still sounded good and gave plenty good power. i havnt even put the yosh on yet but i know i will be pleased with it.

hope this helps somewhat haha

Thanks guys, 96 dbs is still pretty loud, I think I'm gonna go with the yosh and quiet core.
