arabs running our ports!

what do yall think about bush sellin out those ports to the arabs? this really pisses me off. i like bush and all but i dont see how sellin out our ports to the arabs will help anything. wouldn't it be that much easier for them to get over here? i mean, they only check out 5% of the stuff that comes in. americas economy is going to get really bad in the next 20 years with everything going over seas. just thought id see if im the only one that feels this way and think its stupid

he's selling a contract that would give a 30% share of ownership to a few major us ports to a company based in dubai, united arab emerates. They are one of our strongest and most cooperative allies. Between oil rigs, coalition naval warships, and smaller fishing and freight vessals, dubai is one of the busiest ports in the world. Most people who have dealt with the place say that it is the best-run port in the world. Given these guys' past support, experience, and professionalism, i really dont have a problem with hiring them on as advisors to run our shipping ports, as long as they arent given anywhere near a majority share of ownership.

dont even get me started on the politicaly thing where they dont even want you to say christmas and other ****. i didn't know that it was only going to be 30%. i was thinking that bush was sellin the port all together and was going to be totally run by arabs. well thats good to know.
