i took a bad landing and busted my grab bar, so i need a new one. i would like to keep the tail light, should i just get e replacement stocker? or do aftermarket bars fit the light? are they any better for some reason?

Stock ones are junk, everyone I know has folded theirs the first time it goes over. I am waiting on mine now, its in the post office, i get it tomorrow, I am hoping it has a place for the light, but I dont know for sure.

Check out the Pro Armor Race grab bar. It has a spot for the light and because it is wider than stock it is easier to move your quad around. Looks good too.

Get an after market one. I got a PRM Desert grab bar and it is really nice. I got it from Pappy powder coated stealth black. It is a lot easier to pick up and move around too.

PRM is the best in my opinion. I have one on my 350x and 250x and i love both of them. If i ever bust the stock one on my 450r i'll be getting PRM for sure!

The PRM Desert is awesome. It makes it easier to pick up the back end from any angle//side - but also - at the 2005 Ironman GNCC I didn't make it up that monster hill and was sliding backwards (with the front wheels locked up) when I went a little off the main run and smack into a tree (backwards) hard. The PRM was quite bent, but it surely saved my exhaust (and other parts) from getting destroyed. I don't think the quad would have been able to finish the race if not for that PRM Desert bar...

im thinking of getting a standard, if they have it for the 400ex.

the ac standard or ac wide rear grab bar would be a good choice if your wanting your foot to fit on the grab bar, either way it will fit for sure, and have enough protection for when you wreck :blah:
